There's quite a few green-fingered folk around the Ferrers Triangle...
Community Gardening Workshop
The Community Gardening Workshop was in April 2011. It was great to see lots of new faces along and there were some great containers planted up that should bring about lots of delicious edibles in the upcoming months.
A Big thank you to professional gardener Lesley Hopwood for showing us how its done.
If you have any questions about the day or questions for Lesley contact the Committee or phone Richard on 07948 407343.
Community Freshview
The last Community Freshview was in June 2011. It was great to see lots of people out painting their front fence and tidying up your front yards and gardens.
Check out photos from the Community Freshviews.
A Big thank you to Veolia (the recycling company) and Community Freshview who make these events possible by donating compost, supplying all the paint and equipment free to us and were on hand to help.
Guerilla Gardening
The Ferrers Triangle regularly tidy and plant the Ellora Road Planters with herb and vegetables in the Summer and bulbs in the Winter.
Take a look if you are passing, they look great. Thanks to everyone who helped.
Check out the photos.
A big thanks to Veolia (the recycling company) who helped with compost and equipment to refurbish the planters.
